You painted a picture of us Created the space between us To wonder, to wonder - yeah You feinted, you ducked you parried Serrated the "load" you carried To wander, to wander - yeah With our brains blacked out With our eyes scratched out Take it boy - take my picture You take a little piece of my heart and soul with you It doesn't matter what you say It's what you capture Take it boy - take my picture You take a little piece of my heart, my heart, my heart It doesn't matter what you say It only matters what you do Blood blisters and thoughts of thunder Assemble to suck me under I stand here with eyes uplifted You showed me how quick it shifted With our brains blacked out With our eyes scratched out Take it boy - take my picture You take a little piece of my heart and soul with you It doesn't matter what you say It's what you capture Take it boy - take my picture You take a little piece of my heart, my heart, my heart It doesn't matter what you say It only matters what you do

Oh, isn't it fun to be free? I'm pretty sure you'd agree There's nothing better than winning Surprise - nothing is quite as it seems He's taking tea with the Queen While everyone else breaks their promises How did it come to this? Now it seems so obvious Oh I spy Two million children have died Isn't that what we desired? Isn't that what we all wanted?

Wasn't that what you said? Wasn't that what you meant to say? With three little words you lied - I don't think you realised Wasn't worried by the time, oh The time, but What took you so long? Wasn't bothered by the lukewarm emotion I played along Wasn't that what you said? Wasn't that what you meant to say? With three little words you lied - I don't think you realised So you spill your heart all over computer But not to my eyes Darling drink your nervous wine, yeah I know you're Scared to capsize Wasn't that what you said? Wasn't that what you meant to say? With three little words you lied - I don't think you realised There's nothing to say, there's nothing to say There's nothing to do, there's nothing to do There's nothing to say I think that it's time you went away I'm sorry I wrote, I'm sorry I called I'm sorry I broke your easy fall I'm sorry I cared, I'm sorry I tried I'm sorry I cried in front of you Wasn't that what you said? Wasn't that what you meant to say? With three little words you lied - I don't think you realised

about

The first official She Makes War release EVER, "Three...Two...One" was a celebration of my involvement with local art project Live At The Apollo.

Three local artists took over an abandoned Apollo video shop for a month and used the space to showcase local talent - photographers, painters, musicians...you name it! She Makes War performed twice at the Apollo and I spent many hours volunteering in the shop, getting to know local residents and breaking down the barrier of anonymity that is so prevalent in modern London.

Three...Two...One was released as a limited edition art piece on 25th June 2009. The package comprises a data CD containing the three tracks as high quality audio files, PDF booklet and 8 videos plus a signed and numbered print of the cover art. 50 copies were lovingly handmade by me and sold out in late 2009.
